Is THIS my LIFE?

am i doing what i’ve been wanting to do?
for some reason… i think i’m lost lol

how do i know that i won’t regret the path i’m choosing now?
is it the right one for me?

what do i want to be in the future?
am i walking towards my dream? to achieve what i’ve always imagine i’d be one day?
what do i want to do with my life?
what am i struggling for?

yep! i’m not sure of what i want to be
any clues? xD

i’m pretty sure i’m not made to be in any hardware/electronic sector
and i’m sure that i cant make it into telecomunication either (i wonder how Zahrul could cope with telecom.. hrmm..)

i like programming
i like networking
but it’s just… LIKE
it’s nothing yet that is making me obsess over it

what do i want to do with my life after this?

if anyone concern about this, i went to see my tutor yesterday to talk about this (i’ve talked to my parents before that-and been thinking about this for ages!)
and.. *take a deep breath*

i’ve decided to change my programme of study
by the end of my 2nd year, i will no longer enrol as a master’s student (bye bye MEng)
no longer doing master’s degree
i’ll be a bachelor student (and graduate in 2010 insyaAllah instead of 2011 - hello, BEng! haha)

sad as how it sounds, i am a bit heartbroken by that fact
but, as i think back, as i’m not sure what i want to be in the future, i should take things slowly; with hope i’ll get a better idea on what i want to do
i can always continue doing MSc in something, right? (think from the bright side hehe) which i might have more interest in (but before that, please graduate first! hahahaha)

p/s : this entry is just to convince myself that i’m not losing anything by changing my programme of study. but still… sad la~
something in hand, kena lepaskan for own sake~
rezeki tak datang bergolek, tapi kalau tamak, sendiri yang rugi

now.. back doing coursework!
its due this monday! harhar

@|1f34|-|1r3, year 1 sampai year 2 blaja sama je psl still blaja basic
time 3rd yr nanti baru lain sikit; 3rd yr yg buat master kena buat group project
3rd yr yg buat bachelor kena buat individual project
atm, aku enrol utk master, tapi xde effect lagi (except the overall mark utk masuk the next year tu lagi tinggi dari org yg buat bachelor ehe~ tu je yg membezakan budak master dengan budak bachelor utk 1st ngan 2nd yr)
blaja still sama skrg (org expect budak master lagi pandai walaupun aku same ngot je WAKAKAKAKAKA)

cuma.. kalau pass 3rd yr, masuk 4th yr (utk yg enrol utk master in engineering), ada subject electronics hehe
aku xsure aku suka ke tak electronic
nak kata tak suka, cam suka (at least, aku lagi bongok dlm bab2 telecom; signals daripada electronic hihihi)

so kalau aku tukar buat bachelor je, senang ckp, aku lari dari amik electronic hihihi

tapi.. isk.. dapat master in engineering (skali harung je terus master! haha) bunyinya lagi cool dari bachelor in engineering + master in science, kan? hehehe
gila nama la pulek~

ok..cukup panjang dah tuh…well..aper aku leh cakap..masters ok aper…but in electronics…aku xsure la plak kan? at least kalau aku jadi ko..aku try convert master tuh jd sumthing else yg aku suka…master in sc comp ke ape ke…instead of turun jd bachelor sajer..setahun extra dpt master..not bad ape..

@|1f34|-|1r3, umm.. masalahnya aku nak grad jadi engineer hihihi (or dpt title engineer?)
so kalau aku buat bachelor in engineering pastu sambung master in sc (software engineering cam mnarik, computing pun ok gak haha) aku still qualify jadi chartered engineer

kalau aku tukar course terus, buat trus MSc, xde chance jadi engineer

aku dulu tanak amik comp sci psl tanak amik business hehehe
amik kau! tanak business kena amik electronics

aku plan lepas dpt bachelor in engineering (3 taun) nak sambung terus buat master in sc. (1 taun) so time duration lebih kurang jugak psl klo buat master trus, 4 taun (leh grad 2 kali hahaha kalau lepas la…)

dulu aku plan nak buat yg ni MEng Computing
lebih kurang cam comp sci cuma kat situ qualify as an engineer
tapi.. masalah nye diorang tanak aku hahaha

p/s : bersyukur giler aku tak apply utk buat electronic n electrical time mintak dulu hahahaha

isk~ nak ngaji pun masalah.. xtau nak buat ape hihihi

Well, honestly I’m having the same problem now. I do not know whether I should pursuit my undergraduate or just gain more capital and quit my job now.

I even filled in the PJJ form last night half way and stopped. Thinking about what I really want in my life.

I talked on YM with a friend of mine. He told me to see deep in my heart what I want in my life. I was speechless. If I know the answer, I would not ask him anyway. Then he said something like this (since he knows me better): I do not have postgraduate in my hand but I know what I want and I know that a cert is just a qualification for you to get something. How you use the brain is the most important!”

I smiled.

Now, I know what I want. I will focus and get the right mindset again. That is why books that related to our interest is very useful. Not to mention the self-help and motivation books

@Faisal Admar, haha that’s so true!
the thing is.. yeah if you know what you want, getting a certificate is nothing a big deal
but my guess, people go for it is because they are still not sure where to go

it’s pretty hard to choose which path to go as we don’t know what lies in our future haha
screw up now, it’s gonna be hard to get back on track lol
